Project Celebration
What is Project Celebration?
Since 1988 Nederland High School and senior parents have hosted a drug and alcohol free, all night party for graduating seniors. It will be the night of graduation. Doors open to NHS students after graduation and everyone must be in the building by 11:00 PM. The celebration lasts until about 5:00 AM. Meals, snacks, drinks, entertainment, activities, prizes, and cash are provided by the parents and the celebration is open to all graduating seniors of the NHS Class of 2026.
Important Information
- We ask for a one-time donation of $25 for each graduating senior. This can be given at any meeting, or it may be turned in to Julie Blackwell at NHS.
- We also ask that each family bring drinks to each meeting when possible. These can be cases of water, 20 oz Gatorades, or name brand soft drinks. These will be used in concession stands that parents operate to raise money throughout the school year.
Meetings
All meetings will be held at 6:30 PM in the NHS cafeteria, and ALL parents/guardians of NHS Class of 2026 seniors are encouraged to attend.

Who is in charge?
EVERYONE! Our Project Celebration will only be successful with the participation and help from all parents and guardians. Please attend the meetings and volunteer to help in any way you can throughout the year. It's for OUR kids!
